Records 7:3378. Oct. 21, 1818. Br. Pfohl reported that the single communicant Br. Christian Pfaff wishes to marry an outside person, Elisabeth Doll (daughter of George). Greatly as we wish that Brethren in Bethania who wish to marry would choose helpmeets from the congregation, the Conferenz found no sufficient reason to shut the aforesaid Brother from the congregation, as he has announed his intention properly and there have been similar cases already, especailly as both of the parties have good characters. Therefore, if they ask the Bethania pastor to marry them he should not refuse.

7:3388. They were married on December 10 by a justice of the peace.

9:4745. August 18, 1843. Visited the sick in Pfafftown. At Wm. Conrad's and Chrn. Pfaff's a pitiful situation. In the former house 5 and in the latter 8 down with fever.

9:4987. Nov. 7, 1847. On his application Christian Pfaff with his minor children was readmitted to the congregation by the Committee and the P.H.C. Also the following persons were appproved for confirmation on August 14 by the commitee and the P.H.C.:

The single Sr. Lizetta Pfaff (Christian's daughter)
The single Sr. Charlotte Pfaff (Christian's daughter)

10:5281. April 5, 1848. In the afternoon there was the baptism of 2 illegitimate children in the home of Chrn. Pfaff.

11:5757. Jan. 4, 1852. ...and of Christian Pfaff's family only Charlotte and LIsette should be counted.

Emanuel Pfaff age 30 is living next door to him - his son? See notes on Emanuel; IGI makes him son of Peter Hege Pfaff, but this is inconsistent with statement in Records that Emanuel's mother is a member of the congregation, whereas Peter Hege's wife (Leah Kelley) was not.
