A very young child of a neighbor couple apparently experienced the preservation of its life when it went into the yard with no grown person of the family near and was horned by a cow, a portion of its cheek being torn away. A physician was hastily summoned and aid given. By the end of the month the child was much improved. (Nancy Pfaff, of Pfafftown).
