Notes for Louise KRIEG

Richard came to the Moravian church that Louise was a choir member of, and was taken by Louise. Richard kept coming to church because of Louise.

Louise brought Richard to Old Forge, NY for his health from Utica, NY. Had the home "Wildwood" built for them, Hannah paid for the building of this home. Fred lived next door to Wildwood.

Louise is buried up on a hill, looking over the hill and being able to see the mountains.

Last name is also spelled (Kreig) or (Krueig)

After Richard died, Louise moved to Parkway Dr., Utica, NY. She lived in the 3rd house from the corner, near the Utica zoo. Across the street is a park. The house was a duplex; Louise lived in the bottom half of the duplex. In the winter they would close off the road, wet it down and go bob-sledding down the hill. The bob-sleds were home-made. As many as 12 people, at a time, would go bob-sledding.
