PA for additional information. Joseph was neutral during the Revolution and had to hide out in the mountains from his neighbors. His farm and property were confiscated. After the war he returned to Lehigh County, but about 1793 moved to Beaver Twp in what is now Snyder County, where he bought a sawmill and grist mill. His son Henry, b. about 1767, came to Snyder County also, and married a woman named Catherine. Henry's son Jesse, b. 4 NOV 1807, moved to Littleport, Iowa. The genealogy continues with Jesse's descendants.
