Loretta M. "GiGi" Blick, 88, of Decatur, died Saturday, Sept 24, 2011 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 27, 2011 in the Star of Hope Mausoleum in Graceland Cemetery. Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home is assisting the family.Memorials may be made to Decatur Memorial Hospice.
Mrs. Blick was born Jan. 2, 1923 in Decatur, IL. the daughter of Charles A. & Elsie Wheeler Seitz. She married Wayne Blick March 29, 1942, he preceded her in death. Mrs. Blick worked at Wabash and St. Mary's Hospitals prior to retiring as a "Unit Aide". She was a 50 year member of the Easter Star.
Mrs Blick leaves; Daughter Patti Toney & Husband Jack of Big Canoe, GA., Son Rodger W. Blick of Oak Creek, WI. and Daughter-in-law Julie of Morton, IL. Sister Laverna Bauman of Peoria, IL. Six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Blick was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers; Emmett, Laurence and Charles, Jr.
