"For the transportation of the colony organized in Germany for the peopling the settlements on the Nazareth tract, and known as the "Second Sea Congregation," the "Little Strength" was purchased in England, and Capt. Nicholas Garrison appointed her Master. Late in August of 1743, she was dispatched to Rotterdam, where the colonists were taken on board, and on September 17 sailed for New York, where she arrived after a passage of Eighty-seven days. Northmapton Co., Penna. Wills, 1752-1802 lists John Schierger of Christianbrun, Bethlehem Twp., died 7/24/1785 as being a cousin of Catherine Mickin, her husband Mathias, and their son John Micke. A sister of John Schierger, Maria Michler lived in Lititz. "Pennsylvania Births 1733-1800 Northampton County" lists under Mucke Johann Michael, Ludewig, and Peter born of Michael and Eva Catharina. The record are from the Nazareth Moravian Congregation.
