He lived Lincoln Co. NC and Jefferson Co. TN. Bridget McCartney Rogier lists his children (6 by Elizabeth Miller, 8 by Polly Sniper).
Betty Ralph 7/96 says Charles Moser book says Polly or Mary's name was SIPES not SNIPER. Since SIPES is indeed a known surname in this area, I'm going with that version.

“Son of Johann Leonhardt and Sarah Maria Binggeli Moser; husband of Elizabeth Miller and Mary Ann "Polly" Sipes; a LT in the Continental Line in the Revolutionary War, was at the battles of Camden and at York Town at the surrender of Cornwallis; born on Monocacy Creek in Frederick Co., MD, raised at Salem, NC; buried in the older part of Saint Paul's Church Cemetery. His original marker was made by Moser and Blackman, Marble Works on Bat Creek. Information from Gr-gr-gr-grandson Harless K. Brakebill, Jr., who set the Veteran's Rev.
